Our Trips River Tubing and Beer Tasting
Close your eyes. Seriously, close your eyes. Now imagine you’re in an inner tube in your bathing suit. It’s 90 degrees out and the sun is shining down on you. Your four best friends are across the river mingling with the new friends they just made in the bus ride that morning. Your feet are dangling off the end of your tube and are getting a refreshing cool-down from the crystal clear water of the Shenandoah River. The sun shines down on you so much you’re getting the feeling that you might just have a really nice tan by the end of the day.
Other people from the trip are on the other side of the river playing and splashing each other. You snap out of one moment of bliss and realize you want another. Kick your way over to your friends as you think to yourself you’ve found a little slice of heaven.
After the tubing, we’ll change into dry clothes, eat a picnic lunch and then head over a short distance to a local brewery where you’ll get to try out a bunch of beers and see the ins and outs of what it takes to brew some of the region’s best. No one goes home thirsty from this day and everyone is feeling good as we head back to the city.
