Urban Escapes is bringing new meaning to Thursday Happy Hours. Ever wonder what the Washington Monument looks like at sunset…from a kayak? If you said yes, you’re probably lying, but at least you’re thinking about it now.

Instead of hanging out at a waterfront bar, join us on the water for an evening of sunset kayaking followed up by some of the best southern-style BBQ DC has to offer. We’ll spend two hours circling Roosevelt Island and taking in all the monuments as we watch the sun set over the horizon. From there we’ll be in a prime location to catch the city light up right in front of our eyes. After we’re back on shore, we will kick it riverside with some incredible catered BBQ and a few cold ones to wash it all down.

This is a Thursday night you won’t want to miss!
